Gobernabilidad y transparencia: un análisis bibliométrico global de la producción académica entre 2020 y 2024

El presente estudio sistematiza la producción científica internacional sobre gobernabilidad y transparencia indexada en Scopus durante el período 2020–2024, mediante la identificación de su evolución temporal, principales actores académicos, fuentes de publicación, redes de colaboración y tendencias temáticas emergentes. Se desarrolló un estudio bibliométrico en el período 2020–2024. La búsqueda se realizó sin restricción de idioma, e incluyó artículos, revisiones, capítulos de libro, libros y documentos de conferencia. Se obtuvieron 3.495 registros iniciales y, mediante un proceso de depuración inspirado en PRISMA, se seleccionaron 29 estudios para una síntesis cualitativa. El análisis bibliométrico se realizó con VOSviewer, considerando co-ocurrencia de palabras clave, redes temáticas y mapas de densidad. Los resultados evidencian un incremento sostenido de la producción científica, con un aumento notable en 2024. Predominan los artículos publicados en revistas académicas y las investigaciones vinculadas con ciencias sociales, administración, economía y gestión pública. Estados Unidos, Reino Unido, China e India destacan entre los países con mayor producción. Las principales líneas temáticas se relacionan con transparencia institucional, rendición de cuentas, gobernanza digital, gobierno electrónico, inteligencia artificial, y sostenibilidad. El campo de estudio muestra una evolución hacia la integración de dimensiones institucionales, tecnológicas y éticas. La gobernabilidad y la transparencia se consolidan como ejes centrales para el fortalecimiento institucional, la innovación pública y la confianza ciudadana.
