Efectos psicosociales de la pandemia COVID-19 en la familia

Abstract

La célula más importante de la comunidad es la familia, compuesta por un número variable de personas, unidas por diversos lazos, que pueden vivir juntos o no. Es la fuente de socialización y las interacciones de las personas con el mundo exterior producen cambios en la familia. La COVID -19 y las medidas de cuarentena causaron una situación muy especial en el mundo generando un fuerte impacto. El objetivo del presente trabajo fue conocer los efectos psicosociales de la pandemia COVID-19 en la familia. Metodología: Se revisó en la base de datos SCOPUS y EBSCO, utilizando como palabras clave “family” and “COVID-19”.  Se encontró 40 artículos científicos. Resultados: Se concluye que la pandemia COVID-19 provocó fuertes repercusiones psicosociales en la familia como: incremento del estrés, miedo a la infección, violencia doméstica, ansiedad, contagio de las emociones digitales, labilidad emocional, irritabilidad, depresión, insomnio, angustia económica, aburrimiento y síntomas psicosomáticos. En casos graves comprometió la vida de sus integrantes y su proceso de luto. Los estudios coinciden en que la COVID- 19 ha afectado notablemente el aspecto psicosocial de la familia.
