Platón y la democratización digital saber: una crítica al uso de MOOCs como estrategia de inclusión digital.

Resumen

El presente trabajo tiene como finalidad reflexionar sobre la relación entre información y conocimiento, especialmente sobre el papel de los MOOCs (Cursos en Línea Masivos y Abiertos) como instrumentos para promover la democratización del saber. Sobre sus posibles bondades, pero sobre todo los riesgos de aplicar este modelo sin prestar atención a las particulares y contextos en cada país. Para este fin se utilizarán algunos razonamientos del filósofo Platón, especialmente de su dialogo Fedro, respecto al uso y abuso de la escritura para enfocarlas en el análisis de los MOOCs como modelo educativo que busca promover la democratización del conocimiento, pero bajo el cual también subyace una dinámica que fomenta una nueva forma de explotación cognitiva de índole capitalista.

David Ramírez Plascencia, Universidad de Guadalajara

Docente y articulista mexicano (Guadalajara, 1980). Licenciado en derecho y maestro en ciencia política por la Universidad de Guadalajara, Doctor en Ciencias Sociales por El Colegio de Jalisco. Actualmente es miembro del Sistema Nacional de Investigadores (SNI) y trabaja como profesor investigador en la Universidad de Guadalajara.
