Submission Preparation Checklist
All submissions must meet the following requirements.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it under consideration by any other journal at the time of submission to Revista San Gregorio.
- The submission file is in Microsoft Word.
- Whenever possible, DOI or URLs for references are provided.
- The text has 1.5 line spacing; uses a 12-point font size; italics are used instead of underlining (except for URLs); The figures and tables are placed in the appropriate locations in the text.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements summarized in the Author Guidelines, which are available in the "About" section of the journal.
- If submitted to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in "Ensuring an Anonymous Review" must be followed.
- There are no disputes between authors in co-authored articles. In cases of multiple authorship (four or more authors), a document signed by all authors is sent to revista@sangregorio.edu.ec explaining the relevance of including each author based on their contribution to the article
- The text submitted for evaluation complies with the author guidelines as well as the Editorial Policy of Revista San Gregorio.
- Citations in the text correspond to the references following APA 7th edition style. The references primarily (at least 15) come from academic sources deposited in repositories and impact indexers (Latindex Catalog or higher), preferably from recent sources (last 5 years).
- The methodology section is replicable by another researcher, always adhering to the ethical standards to which the journal subscribes, even if read in isolation.
- The article contains 3-6 keywords (or key phrases) that correspond to one of the categories considered in the UNESCO Thesaurus: http://vocabularies.unesco.org/browser/thesaurus/en/.
- The text contains the following mandatory elements: • Title (Spanish) • Title (English) • Abstract (Spanish) • Keywords (Spanish) • Abstract (English) • Keywords (English) • References. Without numbering or special characters. An extra line must be left between each reference in the version uploaded to the platform.
- The author must send a signed and scanned CERTIFICATE OF ORIGINALITY to the journal's address (revista@sangregorio.edu.ec) at the same time the article is uploaded to the journal's platform. [The certificate template can be found in the "About" section of the platform.]
- The author must sign and send a signed and scanned CERTIFICATE OF COPYRIGHT TRANSFER to the journal's address (revista@sangregorio.edu.ec) if their article is accepted for publication to allow for its publication. [The certificate template can be found in the "About" section of the platform.]
